Brooklyn Label is a modern american bistro located in Brooklyn that bringing together what Brooklyn stands for: diversity, arts, culture, community. If appreciate good food at a very reasonable price and on top of that it’s a bring your own wine! To give an idea, we where 7 people, and the check was 125$ with tips!
Island Burgers and Shakes is really THE place to eat burgers in Manhattan (in Hell’s Kitchen). The menu includes over 60 varieties of burgers and Churascos (a chicken sandwich). Make sure you have an empty stomach to attack these huge and delicious burgers:
There is something you got try it’s called Wasabi Tobiko Sashimi (soft version) or Wasabi Tobiko Sushi (strong version). It’s essentially Tobiko Caviar with Wasabi Flavor. It really kicks into your nose…you gotta try, it’s worth it! See these videos:
We were lucky enough to meet the coolest Ecuadorian at the 99 Percent conference: our new friend Juan Miguel Marin, a design director from Charlotte, NC. After our sessions of hunting, walking, drinking in a New York Penthouse in East Village, we were agressively starving. Juan suggest is favorite place : Caracas Arepa, a Venezuelan restaurant.
The food was simply astonishing. We really liked the authenticity and the ambiance of the place. I think at this point Karl really understood why i’m so passionate about Latin American food. I’m really glad that I got my little fix!
